Mission Statement

The Wilderness Engineering Society (WES) is a successful volunteer organization providing long-term support to Ma-ka-ja-Wan Boy Scout Reservation (MSR) in Pearson, Wisconsin. The WES has been associated with MSR for over forty years. The WES main mission is providing long term maintenance to the property and buildings for the camp. This involves capitol donations, free technical support (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and other skills), and long-term planning for camp properties. The WES personnel roster is over 200 people from various ages, backgrounds, and talents.

The WES is a successful volunteer organization but lacks in promoting its annual list of work project accomplishments. Plus recruiting new personnel from a larger Adult personnel pool. An multi-informational pamphlet would be a cost efficient way to link up with loosely knit BSA organizations over a wide geographical area.
